Fair enough. I think Wisky presents Kentucky with some real challenges. Talk about a fun fun game

Agreed. They'll really have to step it up defensively. I'm interested in seeing the Towns/WCS matchup on Kaminsky. We missed seeing him against WCS last season because he got injured before that game.

Meh.

37-0 is 37-0, it doesn't happen often. UK could easily be 32-5 or so now.

If they were in the ACC they'd have the same chance of being 37-0 or 32-5. It's not like their OOC schedule is dog. They beat 2 seed KU by 30, NCAAT teams: Texas, UCLA, UNC, Louisville. SEC NCAAT teams Ole Miss, UGA, LSU, ARK.

Then have beaten Cincy, WVU and ND in the NCAAT.

I'm interested in the same, but more interested to see if the one NOT on Kaminsky can be effective against Decker.

2009 UNC

Even LSU was tied with them in the tournament with about 5 or 6 mins left. All great teams are going to get pushed by someone.

Notre Dame has been damn good all year. That they almost won tonight shouldn't be a knock on UK.

There have been plenty of teams with lots of size. This Kentucky team has bigs with crazy athleticism and guards who can shoot. If they had plodding bigs and/or guards who shot bricks, they would be a good team. This is a once a generation team, sadly.

I am pretty sure I agree with you but I still think it's incredibly unpopular to not think this Kentucky team is gods gift so I'm scared to say too much

I am in this boat. I just dont find them all that great or having anything special besides individual talent. I've seen great talent with a great system (UNC 05 & 09, Kansas 2008, Florida 06 & 07). All the other seem like either luck of the draw, or just got hot at the right time.

Would you like to see how well those 7 footers played? Or are you content with being wrong?

I'm not a huge fan of Coach Cal as an in game coach. I think he is average. He is a great recruiter who can win when his team has superior talent, which is basically every game.

I think Izzo would coach circles around him but it may not matter in the score.

Coach Cal is so much better than people give him credit for. He slaughtered Brey late-game. ND was having success because of their incredible spacing, cuts and passing, and then Brey decides to milk the clock and iso Grant on their last real posesion?

News flash moron, theyre Kentucky and you're ND. You don't win because of isolation play. You win because of the system. They lost the game on that possssion IMO.

You "once a generation" people are so wrong. They're bigs are averagely skilled. They were going against one true frontline player and a bunch of 6'5 other players. Hell the flying goatee was able to guard their bigs most of the game. I was fairly disappointed at Kentuck's inability to dominate down low.

There are countless teams who coulda taken this team down in the past.

Towns is a terrifically skilled player. He has an incredibly high NBA ceiling and is by far and away the best player on that team. There was a 5-6 minute stretch tonight where Towns kept UK from getting run out when ND got rolling in the middle of the second half. He can block/alter shots and he already has really good offensive skills, which is extremely rare in a teenager (Okafor has better offensive skills but is a turnstile on defense).

Cauley-Stein is a great athlete and a terrific shot blocker, but he has miles to go on offense before he can even think about becoming a good NBA player.

Lyles has the offensive skills to be good, but I don't think he has quite the athleticism or defensive ability of Towns or Cauley-Stein.

I couldn't care less who thinks we're great and who thinks we're not. We're in the Final 4 and i'm happy right now.

Exactly. Kentucky's bigs are the only reason they won the game. What is this guy talking about?

If LSU played more than 6 players they would have won. No depth on that team

Definitely agree.

Here is hoping that Wisconsin, a true team, wins the semi-final.
