I think many people forget how good Kobe actually was.

They only remember him as he was very late in his career as a selfish chucker and a prick.

as opposed to earlier in his career when he feuded with the best player on his team and kept them from titles, only to win titles when he accepted his secondary role?

Look at it this way, if Kobe was 6'8 250, instead of 6'6 210, do you think he would be better than Lebron

no i think he'd be a worse player

and kobe was 6-6 and pushing into the mid 220s when he did his bulking routine in the early 00s before the rape scanal

kobe was fricking ripped in like 2002-2004

he dropped weight b/c he wasn't as good

Why couldn't/wouldn't he be better if he was taller?

Who the frick knows?

This is what the argument has devolved into? What if Kobe were bigger? What if Lebron were smaller?

what exactly would 2 inches really change in kobe's game?

other than actually getting convicted of rape

Since we're playing the hypothetical game, why didn't Kobe bulk up? If all he needed to do was put on weight to be better, why didn't he?

Oh I saw it. You're trying to bring a pound for pound argument into basketball. It's funny.

Why'd you avoid the question? You brought up weight. I'm addressing the weight issue.

Not really. But let's assume it's ridiculous. It's sure as shite a lot less ridiculous than playing the pound for pound game in basketball.

simply saying I thought what Kobe did for his overall size and position, and what Lebron did/does for his size and position is better. omgggg the travesty, how will we ever live.

You talked about both. But since he can't grow taller and can put on weight, I addrsssed the weight issue.

Now back to the question. Why didn't he put on weight to be a better basketball player?

he could have, he could have put on 100 pounds. doesnt change the fact that what he did at the weight he had, is still more remarkable to me.

Iverson is the best pound for pound ever. Can you imagine if he was 6'8" 250 with that movement?

What if Lebron was 6'0" 180?

This is the game we're playing now. I can't wait until we bring it over into the NFL threads.

Is Drew Bree's GOAT p4p QB. Russell coming in second.
