Steph is banged up, but even with that, no one in their right mind would think a healthy Steph can do what lebron has done in this series, and specifically the last 2 games.

I thought Steph had caught lebron early this season, but we now know that that is obviously not the case.

We tend to only focus on one side of the ball. You have to remember Lebron is doing literally whatever is needed defensively, while GS for the 2nd series in a row is now hiding Steph on defense. It's probably for rest reasons as he hasn't been bad defensively but the reason is irrelevant.

Best performer over a definite time is not equal to best overall player.

Steph has a great 2 year income statement. Lebron has him on the balance sheet.

Anybody still think Curry is the best player in the world? I for one never even gave any thought to him being in the same universe as an overall player compared to LBJ. It was obvious to me after last years finals the King was still clearly the King but a good bit of posters during this regular season designated Curry as the best. Any of you still hold that opinion?

Lebron James is playing the best basketball of his life the last 2 games. It's the most dominating basketball I've seen in the Finals (I start at early 90s Bulls). But as great as he is and as much as he's dominated, if you took Curry (Thompson/Green vs James/Irving/Love/Thompson) and James (Irving/Love/Thompson vs Curry/Thompson/Green) off their respective teams for game 7, Cleveland is the only team that would have a small chance without their superstar.

Lebron is the best in the game in these Finals and that exercise above doesn't prove Curry is better, I just find it fascinating.

How about last finals as well. How about the playoffs as a whole. LBJ has been absurdly better.

I know you are trolling but Curry hasn't done anything in the past two finals to warrant anyone choosing him in a game 7 finals. Tonight may change that but as of now nope.

A healthy Curry is right at his level.

No he's not. He can't do all the things that Lebron can do. I've never thought Curry was a better player. I'm not sure why people were ever convinced of this. It's clear when you watch the games who has a greater impact on the court.

Essentially you just claimed you would be one of the five best shooters in NBA history if given the opportunity.

It really is.

Even moreso on the defensive side of the ball. But offensively we've seen it as well.

I've long said in these playoffs that Curry is injured, but as I said before even if healthy, he can't do what Lebron has done the last 2 games, he just can't.

And even if we do concede the injuries, that's still another argument in favor of Lebron because after 13 years of this...he simply does not get injured or hobbled. There's obvious some luck involved in that, but I'd say there's just as much of that that is not at all luck and him just being bigger/stronger/faster, something Curry can't replicate.

I never thought he was in the 1st place. Put curry on this years Indiana or Atlanta and they aren't much better. You put bron or Jordan on those teams and they are instantly a title contender.

It's hilarious how far the narrative pendulum swings.

You put Curry on any team in the league and they are exponentially better.
