He's played in 74 of their 77 games this year, if he wants to sit out a game i dont see the issue.

the league makes them give a reason for sitting now, because sitting players for resting can get the team fined

the "headache" label could just be a frick you to the league for not calling a foul when he got hit in the head

I was shaking my head earlier ITT, but if Davis is out due to a migraine than it's completely understandable. Those things can frick you up.

Migraines are no joke. Does he have a history of migraines?

He was mauled by Kyle Anderson (of course no foul call haha) a couple days ago. Still recovering from that.

LA has 3 games left. They’re in 9th and 1.5 games behind the safety of the 6th seed. They’re 1.5 in front of the 10th place team tonight. They have absolutely everything to play for

Headache can be a cute load management injury but this is probably the worst time of the season to do so. I’m going with this being a legitimate issue

I can take solace in the fact that AD doesn't have to feel like AD to get up and play a game

It must be more akin to a migraine than a regular headache as it would be shocking he would sit this one out w/how important it is for LA to beat GS for play in seeding.

If it’s a migraine, then I can understand. Suffering from migraines myself, your best bet is to take any prescribed medications, then go lay down in a dark, cool room. Hoping the nausea doesn’t overcome you.

If he does not have a history of migraines and the headache is so bad he has to sit out you have to wonder if there's something more serious going on.

The Lakers can't just say illness? Remember when Magic was held out in 1991 the Lakers said the flu before his announcement.
