He teases you every season with great regular seasons then the team fades away in the postseason.

I think he is clearly a really good coach. Winning a Super Bowl is hard, especially with an average QB.

Perfect fit for the Chiefs, good fit for Alex Smith. Good regular seasons, no threat to win the SB ever.

Why?

New England was 100 percent the better team.

He's 11-11 in the playoffs. That's not bad

He's 1-5 in the last 5 seasons he's made the playoffs. He's the pre-2006 Peyton Manning of coaches.

And the game was still decided with an INT.

Nah, he's a good coach. He's just awful at time management.

Sorry to say this, I don't think he was that good from the get-go. I think what we had there was a little social concern in the NFL. The media had been very desirous that a black quarterback do well. There was a little hope invested in McNabb, and he got a lot of credit for the performance of that team that he didn't deserve. The defense carried that team.

:)

Nope! Marty Schottenheimer, both good coaches that spent time in KC, do we see a pattern?

Yep, it's all about the HC and QB combo unless you have a defense that is lights out.
