I am a high handicapper but I don't think I've ever come close at a 17. In fact I know I haven't because I would have picked up and took 2xPar.

Difference between me and Andrey Pavlov on the golf course:
Pavlov: Will still come damn close to breaking 50 on the front 9, even with a 17 on the first hole.
Me: Would have been so rattled by a 17 (if I even honestly took that as a score) that I would be staring at the arse-end of 100 for the front 9

i'm guessing he got pissed at the first one in the water and hit the same shot/club several times until he pulled it off or his caddie informed him they were running out of balls ...

I'm not a good golfer and I think I can still say that I've never been +13 after two holes.
