Exactly. I am not saying that Luck is a top QB yet (probably not even top 10), but unless Tom Brady (or someone else of that stature) was allowed to play for both teams, then the Colts were fricked.

Indy has to be loving the decision to draft Luck.

Your already in the 2nd round and competing with the top teams. They are not a complete team at this point but Luck is getting all kinds of great experience.

They were basically the same group of players without Luck two years ago, and how was that Colts team?
TY, Trent, Fleener, Heyward-Bey, Rodgers, Brazill were not on the team 2 years ago.... so no it isn't basically the same group of players....

Castonzo would have been a rookie 3 years ago
Thornton is a rookie
Satele, Linkenbach, and Cherilus were all established then though....

The supporting cast is good and probably better than people want to give it credit for. Donald Brown was there 3 years ago but again he wasn't used as he had 645 yards on 134 carries that season (4.8 YPC) along with 5 touchdowns. No idea why the Colts coaching staff hates him

Yup

But because they've had instant success they're going to have to hit on their draft picks, doesn't help that they traded one of those this year.

You do realize Luck only threw 12 INTs during the regular season?? And they went 11-5 the past 2 years, all because of Luck.

Donal Brown was a nice surprise, but the Colts running game still is horrible. And without Reggie Wayne, their skill players are mediocre. Hiltons legit and a good WR, but thats it. Brazill?? Griff Whalen??

And yea he threw a lot of INTs this postseason. Against the Chiefs and Patriots. Chiefs were 1 of the best Ds in the NFL when it comes to forcing INTs and turnovers. And Luck came back and beat them after throwing all those INTs. And Bellichek is the coach of the Pats. And had an extra week to prepare. He can confuse the crap out of veteran QBs, not just young QBs.

Luck is as good as advertised IMO. 23 - 12 in his only 2 seasons in the league so far, with a playoff win, and has improved every year. With an average D and average skill players, besides TY and hes still young, and a below average run game. Only reason they win games is because of Luck. And he improved a lot this year, and wi ll next year. Hes the real deal.

Oh dont worry, TY is literally 1 of my favorite players in the NFL right now

Hes great. Im just saying hes not a true #1 WR and can disappear in games. Not underrating him at all. Hes legit. A better DeSean Jackson IMO. Not just a deep threat. He can run every route in the playbook and run it very well, and has great hands.

Best TD dance in the game... Eugene Hilton aka TY
