His supporting cast sucks and the coaching is lacking.

His decision making has been affected by how shitty his line is.

Seriously, the Colts need to fix that, and their OL has sucked for years.

Luck has actually had a good year, all things considered.

Oh and Pagano is a shitty head coach. Should have been canned last year.

Makes you appreciate the greatness of manning. They have been mismanaged for years and he made them a contender every year he was there in the 2000s with his play.

What kind of dumbass logic is this?

How is he supposed to "get it done" if his team and coach suck? He's 1 player of 53.

He had two picks yesterday, but he hit two receivers perfectly in stride yesterday with Mack and Irvin in his face. Luck has got to have a fricking tree trunk for an arm to be able throw a ball like that with Mack hitting his arm.

It will never happen but him getting the Jim Plunkett treatment would do him a world of good.

History lesson for the youngsters who know may know Plunkett as the Raiders QB for 2 super bowl wins in the 80's. He won the heisman at Stanford and then was drafted by New England who was terrible. Took a terrible beating to start his career and had a couple of good years until they fell off the shelf and he started taking a beating again. Was traded to San Fran and took even more beatings. He was basically at the end of his career until the Raiders pick him up as a backup and he just rode the bench behind Stabler for a couple of years recovering. 1980 the Raiders traded for Dan Pastorini who got hurt early in the year and Plunkett came in. The rest is history, took them to super bowl wins in 1980 and 1983.

.

1971 draft was...ugh, for top prospects.

1. Plunkett Boston Patriots (yep, they were still called Boston)
2. Manning - Saints
3. Pastorini - Oilers

Ken Anderson #67
Joe Theismann #99

Plunkett was widely expected to come out in 1970 as a junior...but he decided to stay at Stanford for his senior year.

His junior campaign saw him set league records for touchdown passes (20), passing yards (2,673) and total offense (2,786). This display of offensive firepower led Washington State coach Jim Sweeney to call Plunkett "The best college football player I've ever seen."

Terry Bradshaw was selected #1 to the Steelers in 1970 with Plunkett not in the draft.

What might have been? For both sides.

He was supposed to be the next Peyton Manning. Not even close. And please don't anyone give me anything about Luck's supporting cast. We all saw what happened to the Colts when Manning was out for a year.
