They're in serious trouble.

They have no depth as is.

Nice of the Cavs to give a guy made of glass a 30m extension

Without Varejao, the Cavs aren't beating a healthy Bulls team in a 7 game series.

Noah/Gasol/Gibson/Mirotic will destroy their front line.

Heck, the Cavs may have trouble with the Wizards and Raptors now. Not to mention the red hot Hawks.

Curious to see who they pull from the Celtics. (If that rumor is true)

I've heard they are trying to go for one of the lopez brothers and Brook would be awesome for Cleveland. They have a memphis pick to trade, and also have Dion Waiters to trade.. I don't expect them to trade Dion, but if they feel as if losing AV is bigger than Dion I guess they will. Who knows.

Why the heck hasn't Emeka Okafor signed anywhere? Is he that bad?

Seems like he's a decent enough rim protector, which is all the Cavs would need him for.

Why would Portland trade RoLo?

No idea. I think they were just entertaining talks. That's why I said Brook would be more realistic because the Nets seem to be trying to shop numerous players.

League sources say the Cavs have an interest in both Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez (clearly on the market) and Portland Trail Blazers center Robin Lopez (Brook’s twin brother). But salaries would make any sort of move involving the Cavs and either Lopez brother unlikely.

I imagine they'd have to get rid of Dion to obtain either.

Last I read Okafor would possibly be ready by the ASB. I think he had back surgery or something like that

Brook is just as injury-prone as Andy. Would be an awful move.

Cleveland wasn't winning it all anyways. Now, they might not get past the second round.

Eh, you wishing for a lot. This team will be completely different come playoff time. We all know this. The only team I can see actually beating the Cavs in the East (IN PLAYOFF BASKETBALL) is the Bulls.

that's a huge assumption given the current roster.

the Raps, Hawks and Wizards would all have their way with them as well if the playoffs started today.

Damn, did the playoffs start today? Guess I missed it. Do you really believe come playoff time in April/May that the Hawks/Wizards could actually win a 7 game series vs the Cavs? I'll throw the raptors in the discussion with the Bulls as the only team that can beat them.

First, let me state that I pull for LeBron. I never understood the hate for the man.

Do you think he looks the same? To me, he's either lost a step or he's conserving energy for the playoffs. The Cavs have no rim protector. Their bench is okay, and Kyre/Love are still considered average defenders at best.

If I were the GM, I'd trade Waiters immediately. I would try do get Mozgov from Denver and try and find another wing defender. Marion can only give you so much off the bench. This way you can keep Thompson as a serviceable big off the bench and keep the rotations almost the same.

Chicago is just starting to get it together and when they do, they're coming out of the East.
