In all honesty I don't dislike the guy and think that he gave everything he had to the team. For both parties a change of scenery was needed but it would have been really hard to watch him turn it on in Arlington

Yeah we'll see how it goes. It would be nice to see him succeed, I just think it's unlikely, but his defense in LF may keep him there.

Seems like he is essentially the Josh Hamilton replacement. SOs, HRs, decent defense, and the occasional double is about what he'll give.
At least he isn't going to blame striking out on red bull or his eyes being too blue to handle day games.
