The franchise with the second most wins since morey joined CC is the one of the crown jewels of the NBA. CC wins and they do it the right way. destination franchise.

Spurs excuse makers

Are the Spurs posters the one in here making excuses for an "MVP" candidate losing at home in a closeout game by 35+, playing a team without it's best player, and putting up a 10 pt/7 ast/3 reb/ 6 TO on 18% shooting ?

I thought it was someone else doing that

I'm saying that just bc a player is having a good playoffs doesn't make him the teams second best player like the Spurs excuse makers are saying. Parker was like the seventh beat player in that team all year and has a good playoffs so they say they lost their second best player. Hey if I wanted to play that game nene is CC second best player using the same small sample size.

Who cares? Y'all got run out of the gym at home by a Spurs team without kawhi.

In the last three years they have

One WCF appearance / loss
One 2nd Rd appearance / loss
One first Rd exit

Same as THE vaunted Spurs. Not bad IMO.

I don't see anyone saying that he is their second-best player, he was having a great playoffs. You being a Rockets fan may not know this but the playoffs are when it counts the most

all I see is you making a bunch of shite excuses as to why your team lost

How's that gonna work with the cap situation? Projected at around 100 mill and yall already have ~85 mil tied up for next season.

we only have $47 million committed after 2018 and its even less if we can somehow pull off a miracle and find a way to get mozgov or deng off the books

In no world was Boogie more deserving of an All-NBA team than Gobert

Unless someone thinks Cousins is a completely horrible defender there is really no way to argue wanting Gobert over Cousins.

Cousins is not a bad decender and he was absolutely incredible offensively this season.

The best big men in the league are Davis, Cousins, and Towns.

Spurs had more regular season wins and won a closeout game on the road without their best player by almost 40 points.

Nailed it!!!

Well they did for that series/these playoffs.

Long term would that happen? Nope. Can it happen in the short term tho, like a couple games sample? Sure. We saw it.
