in doing so, they deny NCAA regional broadcasters the opportunity to say "Olajide Oloruntimilehin"

Mervyl Melendez has led Bethune Cookman and now Alabama State to dominate HBCU baseball... he should get a big conference chance before long...

Hell, I don't think LSU would have gone undefeated in the SWAC.

FSU definitely would of dropped some games.

I hope they aren't in our bracket. FSU and the State of Alabama are joined at the hip when it comes to baseball seeding.

They are within the 400 mile driving distance of basically half the likely regionals.

It will be interesting to see where they are sent.

During the broadcast they were saying Ole Miss. They thought they were too good to go to Mississippi State. Very Latin ball club, looked solid.

SWAC had probably it's overall worst year this year. It was atrocious baseball. NCAA usually puts the hammer on the swac since it's the lowest RPI conference. I see them heading to Gainsville

Speculation on their part. One of the MS locations seems like a logical guess but Vandy, LSU, Tulane and Florida State are all possible

28-0 is still pretty stout.

Southern went 46-5 and was a 3 seed in 2003. The committee gave them some love for that season. An HBCU getting a 3 seed in a regional is pretty unheard of.

I think less than 50 people in Montgomery know this. Went to lunch yesterday and asked them to change it from the baseball game to the soccer game. No one raised an objection.

I've searched a few Google pages to try to find the answer to this question:

What college baseball teams have gone unfeated in conference play?

Anyone with some help?
