The few times I watched FSU the commentators did mention that the spring battles for the starting QB was very close. They always mentioned his tremendous arm strength. But isn't he coming off of injury?

Big time ACL injury. He is very talented, but didn't look extremely impressive when he subbed in for Winston (although most of those snaps were with the second team).
I hope he stays, but I completely understand why he would xfer.
