Bama's is about to win the Heisman tonight. The best recruiter ever fricked up and let him go to FSU.

If only there was a board to discuss SEC players and such.

JK, I hate when people pull that shite.

Bama probably gets Jacob Coker. Backup to FSU, and the guys on FSUs 247 site claim he has a better arm than Winston.

most of the league is breaking in new starters

which is why missouri has the advantage of Mauk playing in 5 games, starting 4, all vs SEC teams. Unless the red shirt kid from Ga, Prinz beats him out.

I have to say that I think Mauk is going to be Chase Daniel-esque. I think he's going to be REALLY good

And Mason will have 2.5 games under his belt. Can't hurt.

He'll already have graduated from FSU, so free to transfer without having to sit out a year.

I think hes a grad student

But i dont buy the "better arm than winston" crap. The backup always gets this treatment. Remember the hype over John Brantley at florida when Tebow left? "Hes more accurate than him and a better arm, he broke all his high school records!"

Winston's arm isn't really elite. It's above average but I wouldn't be surprised if the backup has a stronger arm. Of course that doesn't mean a whole lot.

Its not elite. But its good. I think you're underselling him a bit because his passes wobble. Thats because he tore his finger when he was younger so he grips the football different than other Qbs.

With that said, Coker's arm strength is elite. Jimbo said he's the closet he's seen since JaMarcus in terms of arm strength.
