I think WVU is a fine school. Just providing a little perspective amongst all your sour grapes. While Mizzou was going to the conference championship game in 2 of its first three years in its new home in the SEC you all couldnt muster much of anything in our watered down old home. You know, the one in which we ran off quite a few 10+ win seasons and three appearances in the big 12 champ game since 2007.

They signed on to be Bevos whipping boy. Mizzou said frick that and moved to the best conference in the country.
They like the narrative that they were clearly superior athletically at the time and that TV sets were the ONLY reason Mizzou was picked over them. Academics and athletics played a part in the choice as well but they don't like to hear that "crazy" stuff.

Their other option is the aac and travel sucks for that without the money the big 12 gives them.

I have been to both campuses and there is no question I would rather be in Morgantown than Columbia. Columbia has no character...just a shithole. Morgantown is a very cool little town and beautiful.

ACC is a great fit but I doubt that UVA or VaTech would welcome it. Hell, I doubt if any of the big boys really want West Va! All they need is stability and a little more tv time. You know....that ACC attention!
