Clemson @ UNC to start it off at 6:00 on ESPN2
followed by
Syracuse @ Pitt at 8:00 on ESPN2

Its gonna be a long year for Clemson as the impending blowout loss to UNC tonight will indicate. Playing all their home games at a neutral site this year is going to make it tough for them to win more than a few ACC games.
Their first 10 games are:
at North Carolina
Florida State
at Syracuse
Louisville
Duke
Miami
at Virginia
Pittsburgh
at Florida State
at Wake Forest

So dont be surprised if they start 0-10.

Syracuse @ Pitt will be the much better game. Pitt is 10-1 but lost to the only team theyve played with a pulse (home vs Purdue) by double digits. Everyone was on Syracuse's nuts after beating UConn and Tamu back to back, but then they dropped 3/4 to big name programs like Wisconsin, Georgetown, and St Johns, who all suck this year.

Its been a crazy OOC season in college basketball, with predictability and consistency nearly non-existent. The first few weeks of ACC play should really shed some light on who actually is relevant.

2015-16 ACC Standings (no conference games have been played)
Miami 11-1
Pittsburgh 10-1
Virginia 10-1
Louisville 11-2
North Carolina 11-2
Duke 10-2
Florida State 10-2
Georgia Tech 10-3
NC State 10-3
Syracuse 10-3
Notre Dame 9-3
Wake Forest 9-3
Virginia Tech 8-4
Clemson 7-5
Boston College 6-6

Hoping for Va Tech to get 6 wins in the ACC..slowly getting better, but with Clarke's injury, it got more difficult.

I think State will be favored vs y'all this Saturday @ blacksburg, but a game y'all have a chance of winning. Terry Henderson has been out since 7 minutes into the first game of the season (Nov 13) and will prob be out for at least another month. We only go 7 deep right now and 50% of the offense comes from Cat. If Maverick Rowan and Caleb Martin continue to be streaky and neither shows up, it will be a long year for us as well. This game is a must win for State to be able to get to 9 or 10 ACC wins this year and have a chance at making the dance.

Buzz has essentially said that any chance for success will be winning these early home ACC games, so I know we will be pumped, but just think the talent will be too much to overcome.

Good luck this year

The 'Cuse frontcourt is just non-existant this year, quite frustrating. Gbinije should be in talk for ACC player of the year though.

Bacon and Beasley should be fun to watch.
