Aaron Judge is surprising me this year.

I honestly thought he would regress significantly. I thought he would still hit 40 home runs but hit .210 and k 200 plus times. He has looked great this year. As an Astros fan I’m excited about a potential post season rematch and rivalry. Also judge just seems like a cool dude.

It always cracks me up after he makes a play in the field. He's like 6'8" 290lbs and he smiles like a schoolgirl

I don't know why you thought Judge would regress at the plate. Judge has a very similar offensive profile to Ryan Howard and Howard was a very good offensive player until his eighth or ninth year in the league.

Why would he regress, when he was only a rookie?

I was always on Team Judge. The one thing i loved about the kid is that in the minors whenever he struggled at a level he made adjustments and got better.

Thats all i needed to know he would have success with his physical toolsets.

Was just thinking that. Last year could be his baseline. We don't have enough info to know what's abnormal and what's not for him.

He will still strikeout 200+ times. But that’s acceptable in today’s baseball if you can hit 50+ HRs

The Yankees are different this year as opposed to the past...the squad is loaded with exciting young talent and they are, for the most part, a very likable group. I’m the biggest Yankee hater there is, but I hate this team significantly less.
