Didn't have one of those "good kid from a bad place who made it out" feel good stories when he got drafted?

Not really. There were questions about his character coming out. He was much better than a 4th round pick, but the character issues were a huge issue.

Exact opposite actually. Bad kid frkm a good home in a decent town. 2 parent family until his dad died senior year in HS. He was committed to play at Uconn where his brother was a 4 year starter and captain until Urban and God got ahold of him. His brother is the TE coach at Iowa.

im not justifying anything he has done but his family life went to shite even before his dad died i think. his mom started dating a drug dealer when his dad was still alive. it's a sad story how his life went downhill so quick. he still deserves to spend the rest of his years in prison.
