He had reporters and shite outside his house 24/7. I'm sure he was under some kind of surveillance by authorities also. I doubt he could just hop in his car, drive to mexico or to the airport and get on a plane without anyone knowing. I'm sure it's different if you or I were in the same spot but he has a lot of eyes on him.
