The guy is the greatest of my era, but good Lord, he emphasized his selfishness in this last game. 50 shots. 50. Give me a break, man. He has always been a ball hog, but this was the icing on the cake IMO. His final "I'm more important than my team" moment ever.

Hmmm. First off, they won the game.
Second, even if they had not, they were 16-65.

You don't think his team was in on the whole thing? C'mon.

His teammates were telling him to shoot all night. It was a meaningless game. Everybody wanted to see him shoot every shot. People didn't pay 10 grand a ticket to see Julius Randle's smooth fadeaway. He shot 44%. His team wouldn't have won without his shooting at the end.

Like lots of great athletes, he's a full blown sociopath.

That's not a bug as a rule - it is a feature that drives their achievement.

They ran Pindown ISO's every nearly every possession for him. His teammates wanted him to shoot. You mean to tell me you wouldn't throw it up one last time in your final game? Give me a break

They came back and won the game. He shot it at 44% last night and the Laker team average on the season is like 40%. He should have shot it more, TBH.

Always nice when people wake up, read the box score, and then come bitch about a west coast game they didn't watch.

Jordan took 49 shots in a loss to the Magic in 93. In a meaningful game. STFU.

If he would have shot it say 6-11 from 3pt range instead of 6-21, it would have truly been one of the all time great performances on a basketball court. Alas, he shot like shite from 3 and we are left with merely an awesome performance by an all time great winding back the clocks on his way out.
