The Bulls would be a terrible matchup for the Warriors, esp since the Warriors dont have a legit post player.

Jordan would harass Curry.
Pippen on Thompson
Rodman on Draymond

Those are some badddddd matchups for Golden State when they have the ball.

I agree. What are the height matchups here?

Rating isn't what I'm talking about. Defense was much much more aggressive in the 90s. People always had their hands on one another and it was a lot more violent. Driving the lane in the 90s was an ordeal.

thats great and all until we find out that todays defenses are apparently more efficient

Jordan 6'5" vs Curry 6'3"
Pippen 6'8" vs Thompson 6'7"
Rodman 6'7" vs Green 6'7"

Jordan, Pippen and Rodman are all time great defenders for their position

Bulls just have the matchups if we were to put these teams in a vacuum

Bulls in 3

They had an answer for anything you did on defense.

I think its a bit too early to make this comparison. Still a lot of basketball to be played. I'll say this again, don't forget about the spurs just yet.

Those rocket teams with Drexler, Hakeem, and company were no slouches either.

Some really good teams during that time

Yep, and Harper was a good defender as well. Thats wat made that team so special, they were beasts on defense. Just a terrible match up for the Warriors.

Dickey simpkins would break him off a piece of harrison barnes

I'd love to see if Jordan could stay in front of Curry without the hand check. If he could he's not "one of" the GOAT defenders, he is THE GOAT defender, period.

I agree the Bulls starting lineup prob has the edge, but I think the Warriors have more depth and can run more guys at them

The Bulls would crush the Warriors but it would have to be played with the 95-96 rules.

Rodman would do something messed up like grab Draymond's butt. He'd have him on tilt in like 5 minutes.

The Bulls matchup really well with the Warriors. The pace would throw them off but the Bulls had great perimeter defenders and I don't think the Warriors have anyone who could handle MJ

Yea they would. They are, at the worst, one of the three of four best defenses in the NBA
