I'm actually not mad, by bringing up past teams I'm just saying that there were alot of good teams this year but not any great ones

Hey Carl....after the season start...I never imagined WM would be in this game....Got to like the heart on this squad, as I don't think this is one of their more talented squads...

Says alot about your South Louisiana Competition when West Monroe wins State Title with the worse team they had in years.

Ya I'm willing to bet they don't leave that trophy when they leave...

Oh, I agree. One of the better jobs by Shows I'd imagine. Didn't think they had this in them either.

I know you understand West Monroe...as does Carl...i was speaking to the ones who dont. You know how serious that town takes its football...and you know a loss here would be devastating.

They'll be alright. Before Shows they accepted losing. It was a given.

Wiki
quote:

Born in West Monroe, Louisiana, he starred at West Monroe High School before earning a scholarship to Louisiana State University where he played from 1997 to 2000. Banks cemented his place in LSU lore by scoring a touchdown in an upset win over the top ranked and defending national champion Florida Gators in 1997. On the play, he dove into the end zone with a defender draped on him, for a 7-yard touchdown that put LSU up 14-0.[1] The dive was immortalized in the October 20, 1997 issue of Sports Illustrated, which contained an article recapping the game. Banks ended his LSU career with a record tying two touchdown performance in LSU's 28-14 victory over Georgia Tech in the 2000 Peach Bowl.[2] To this day, satirical Tommy Banks references are routinely made in LSU post-game radio shows.

Bob Horner. But I believe it's either Claudel Washington or Ken Oberkfel.

I don't know but I agree with Carl & everyone else about it being one of his best jobs of getting a team turned in the right direction after the start they had.
