This is correct.

Should be Calvary/Winnfield competing for 2A next year.

Can't wait to watch them play JC/Evangel next year and show the state they can hang with anyone. Kenny G is creating quite a dynasty

Wasn't implying parkview recruits at all. Just saying if ND wants to be elite they will need better athletes. Sorry if you took it the wrong way.

Coach cook has been to at least the semifinals every year and quarter once. I think they are doing a good enough job

Just an FYI.. the guys that have done the most damage to ND the past 3 years.. have been at PBS.. long before they were good football players....

Bingo. That's why we moved our 8th grader there last year and why my 4 year old will be there soon.

Heck I know several kids.. Mine included that were given the HARD sell and are still getting the hard sell from other schools.... but.. it was an easy choice when he switched school.....

Why are they letting schools move up one class but not all the way to 5A? That's stupid.

Or are they moving up based on enrollment numbers?

the play up one class rule was designed to restore the catholic league.... who along with a couple of schools in 4a who always lost to Curtis....are the ones that pushed the play in class rules.. .to get curtis and eca out... then katrina juggled the numbers at a few catholic league schools.....

and here we are...

I know 2 kids who are really good football players whose parents where approached about attending Parkview. Neither kid went there nor were they scheduled to go there. They attempted to pull them away from their future home school. They may not give scholarships but they definitely recruit. That doesn't mean they don't have good coaching but that's recruiting. They aren't just waiting for every kid to show up.

Champ

Kids and their parents recruit Parkview.

Iamsure there is discussion at many Jr high games among parents of good athletes about attending Parkview, but to say Kenny or Jay Mayet go to Jr high games specifically to target kids is simply erroneous.

90 percent of the players have been there since elementary school

8 - 10 percent transfer in 6-8 grade, many to play football but Kenny isn't recruiting them, their parents are recruiting the Parkview experience.

Parents would be wise to send their kids to Parkview, especially in the next 7-8 years, Mayet''s kids are starting Jr high and the teams will remain insanely competitive for that duration.

Don't hate them bc they are good at what they do

Wake up homo. Any coach worth a damn, from pee-wee to HS will "recruit" players by this definition. Of course you will talk to kids about coming to play for you. It's not against the rules either.
