The fact that ESPN chose USC as their 30 for 30 season premiere sort of verifies what we've been saying about ESPN's USC bias all along.
Brent Musberger has already said this is the greatest documentary in the history of documentaries and would beat The Two Escobars head to head.

I don't mind USC generally, but when you look at the 3 teams and their schedules it's pretty clear they were the least deserving.
The infamous "eye test", which is really just an excuse for people to introduce their own biases, is all USC had going for it in that debate.

You know how every year Ohio State is seriously overrated? USC was infinitely worse back in the 2000s. Hell, they are still massively overrated every season based on their "success" 10 years ago.

It's simple economics.
ESPN wants USC to be good because USC being good is good for ESPN.
Why is it so far fetched that ESPN would sell a phony USC Greatness Narrative to the country and its just because they're Hollywood? They manipulated everyone and laughed all the way to the bank. You think there will be a 30 for 30 about the Nebraska teams from 1994-2000? And why not?

they have been very overrated the past 5 years or so. However, to say they were overrated during the Pete years is stupid.

But to act like you can quantitatively prove that they were better than 03 LSU and 04 Auburn is just as stupid. But since the butthurt has been addressed, how many people act like it was a proven fact that they were the best team in America those two years and anyone who disagrees is ignorant?
