The Maui Invitational may be the best tournament this year...

IU, KU, St John's, Wake, Vandy, Vegas, and some scrub program with the best college shooter ever as the HC.

Should've left St. John's out of there. They're going to be terrible.

I wished they would bring back the Sugar Bowl Classic. That was the first time I ever saw the Phi Slamma Jamma team. Olajuwon was a Freshman.

Who is in the 2k? I still wished they would do a Tournament of Champions, where you qualify by winning your conference or be the 1 seed in your conference tournament...

Rotate the Tournament from NCAA sites or big arenas.
This year it would have been while you rotate in two of the "Mid Majors"

UVa
UK
Wisconsin
SMU
Villanova
KU
Wichita
Gonazaga/BYU/Boise

i had a similar idea but it would just be a tournament with the blue bloods every year at the garden. a tournament with duke, UCLA, UNC, kansas, kentucky, indiana would be awesome

I do not like, but not dislike it, the "blue bloods' tournament. It would be good but I like the fact you reward a team for winning a conference etc with a chance to show how good you are again.

Plus UK already plays 3 of those teams yearly.

The one thing I would love to see get back going is the annual Kentucky Indiana thing they had going...

UK, Louisville, IU, ND, Purdue, would play in the RCA Dome or Freedom as a "showcase" They always played the first Saturday after football season and the Saturday with no bowls. Kentucky wont play in Indy anymore and IU wont play it either. Pitino wont play any school but Kentucky in the Yum of those 4 others it seems.

this would actually be really cool. especially if you can get the big 5 to play on the same weekend even though i dont think theyve ever done that

They did it in the 80's until mid 2000's every year. It was on CBS. Usually Purdue would not play in it though because Keady was being Keady.
