I think it's a grocery store chain in the mid-west? Big sponsor of the Iowa race.

What was the penalty on Grosjean? I know he caught the back corner of a car causing a spin. But then he was listed as out of race. Is the penalty that your race is done? Or was he retired for another reason?

He retired because of a drivetrain issue. Not sure what the penalty was (I missed it) but he accepted the blame in the interview.

2 was the best car all weekend. Good to see O’Ward hang on for second. Chevy looks strong to start the season (7 of the top 10).

We have an exhibition/all-star type race this weekend on Sunday morning. Should be awesome! Qualifying is Saturday night as well.

Yes, it's on NBC/Peacock.

Saturday, there are two 12-minute qualifying sessions (where drivers will have 40 seconds of push-to-pass) similar to normal races.

On Sunday, there are two ten-lap or 20 minutes from green flag (whichever comes first) heat races. Drivers will start based on their fastest lap times from Saturday's qualifying. Pit stops are not allowed during the heat races and will disqualify the drivers. Cars will get 40 seconds of PTP during the heat races.

The top six in each heat race will then compete in a 20-lap "all-star" race where the winning driver and crew will receive $500,000. The driver from the fastest lap time in the heat race will start on pole in the all-star race. During the all-star race, there is a 10-minute segment, a 10-minute "halftime break" where cars can pit, and then another 10-minute segment. Cars will have 40 seconds of PTP during each segment and will get a new sticker set of Firestones for the all-star race (as well as for their lone heat race).

Wow thats cool! Never heard about it until you posted it. Wonder why so early in season? Its great to have just curious if it would be better later on or not exposure wise. Also, don’t want to go head to head with Nascar

Rough day for Herta. Some big names starting towards the end of both heat races.

Rosenqvist and McLaughlin on the front row for heat 1.

Palou and Armstrong on the front row for heat 2.

Jerry Forsythe is acquiring 100% ownership of the LBGP, and has declared that it will remain an IndyCar event. So it's in safe hands now.
