I would not have gone if the game was in any other city. But, I have a cousin who moved there a year ago who guilted me into it. Game tickets were not an issue, you could get what you want if you paid. Flights were a nightmare. By the way, I have heard Tickpick is good, too. I have read some bad stories about Stubhub lately where they have just not come through with tickets in the end.

I've been the medical director for a lower level WTA event before, it is what I would call pretty lax at least at that level - there was not necessarily imaging or other purely objective testing that was a criterion. We had a team with myself (MD), a physio and a chiropractic that specializes in sports medicine. Ultimately the MD was the one responsible for signing off on the injury for the withdrawal.

Jeez, I just saw the replay. Stearns had four match points on her serve at 5-4 in the third, then Sabalenka won 8-6 in the tiebreak.
