Now that the reveals are happening and testing is just around the corner a more comprehensive thread was made to cover the season.

I don't mind the thread replacement as I don't have the time or inclination to put into updates and information like the OP of this thread.

As of now the "We Race as One" message time will be removed this year.

I have no idea how/if any of this translates to a fast car, I've just enjoyed playing "spot the differences" from car to car.

Given the best F1 aerodynamicists in the world get it wrong as often as they get it right even with wind tunnel time any guess any fan makes is just that.

It is like I think pull rods are a bad choice for the front end. The ones that have continued with pull rods don't seem to have packaging issues. I may be right but it is blind luck if I am and my only reasoning is it failed when Ferrari tried it.

Nice to see the big lime green logo gone as well as the weird fade to maroon. The red/black looks good.

Another with top side pod vents.

Looks like they too are running a pullrod front setup.

Bella macchina.

The red is spot on and the lack of white is perfectly old skool Scuderia. I am a fan of matte paint and think it will look great in the sun.

If everything is accurate about this design there are a ton of differences to the cars we have seen so far. I can't wait to pour over the full set of pictures at release, this thing is likely to be Brawn or Bust.

Maybe it's the angle, but I wish there was more...red? I think the front perspective will conceal some of the darker side-body components

Don't see any subliminal advertising in that pic.

They announced a few weeks ago that the Mission WinNow/Philip Morris stuff was out completely.

Some of the things I am seeing... I can't stop staring at it.

1. No swan neck mounts for the upper wing element

2. are those REALLY vents on the top of the side pods, there is something tricky going on there

3. the sidepod shape is very sculpted and concave in areas

4. Ferrari looks like they have the most clear dorsal fin (AKA shark fin) which helps with all sorts of yaw and stability related issues, while they were ugly as hell in F1 the aero guys hated losing them

5. high front wing betting on nice laminar flow to the ducts outweighing the benefits of having a low mounted wing

6. conventional front suspension

7. extremely narrow-waisted

The Ferrari looks fantastic. The only thing I don't like is that ugly black shape under the 75 logo.

Yeah the shark gills don't look like actual vents. Maybe the ribs condition the air in a good way for the rear of the car?

Me too

Ferrari, to me, is a bright red Testarossa.
