All Zachary first half.
All live oak second half.
One of those field goals was 40+ yards. Brown and his receivers struggled with that tight coverage. Live Oak has a solid defense. Offense is good. Solid team that fought hard second half.
Zachary needs to bench Brown for Holstein. His accuracy is bad and when they can't run he can't pass. Holstein on the other hand can thread a needle.

It was 2 different halves. LO was running plays in the 1st half they haven’t all season instead of staying a smash mouth offense. Zachary has the better athletes and did enough to win. Either way it was a very good hard fought game

Is defensive holding 5 yards in NFHS? I always thought it was 5 yards and automatic first down. Got a 10 yard mark off tonight.

Scary how similar live oak and West Monroe are built.
I mean scary. You don't run the ball on Live Oak. No sir. And they control the ball on offense and play physical. I like that quarterback they had. Very hard to bring down.

They were very very good. Holstein had an off night. Many overthrown and underthrown balls. No excuse, but STM lost 2 starters on offense this week. 1 to expulsion and 1 to injury off the field.
Congrats to Westgate and the atmosphere was great for HS football.

Zachary lost 2 starting defensive linemen to expulsion before the season even began. Both were very good.
