Why do they work the horses so early in the morning? It's not hot yet, and they don't need the track until noon or later, but they always seem to do training pre-dawn.

Most tracks are open for training from 5 or 6 am until 10 with a renovation break at about 8. Depends on how many sets the trainer needs to go out. Some barns are huge. It's all timed out. Dreaming probably goes out early bc he's a handful and it's less chaotic.

Big break after training to work the track.

Just watched the jockey intros. It seems there should be more Asians. A tiny little Vietnamese or Chinese guy would be light as a feather.

Why are Empire's trainers hammering the "fair race" angle?

Not sure what they are trying to say? I get he had rough trip but it was a fair race.

They need an excuse.

Was interesting to see that world approval didn't train well over the winter for them. That's 3 big horses that didn't want to work well for them (ce and tepin)

He was gaining big time towards the end.

LOLOLOL

He didn't close a length, from the top of stretch to the finish. Yeah, he was freaking flying at him.LOL

He was 8 1/2 back top of stretch, and finsihed 8 3/4 back. sorry, he acually lost 1/4 length down the stretch.

Don't make me think I'm crazy by quoting someone else and replying to me.

I was confused and had to look back because I knew I didn't say that

Apparently my longshot pick is losing his mind in the infield.

Thanks twitter, since NBC won't show the horses being saddled

Guess I'm leaving him off

How do u think one becomes a jockey? Do u think they were just into riding horses from an early age, stopped growing and said, great ill be a jockey? Or do u think they stopped growing at an early age and then decided to make lemonade out of lemons?
