Also trying to decide on one of these most likely:

Nice. Is there a DVD box set with all Finals games? I had to buy the box sets when the STL won the World Series. I found a place that makes really nice matted photos I'm thinking about buying. Don't know if they would have Penguins or not.

Not sure, I have NHL TV sub or whatever so I can rewatch them online at any time but not sure about a box set of all the games in their entirety.

I bought all the Cards DVD's and the '11 bluray but they're the same for the NHL in terms of it's narrated by someone and it's the full season with highlights and interviews throughout.

I was hoping for a game 7, but the best team ultimately won. I wish Nashville would lose the catfish shtick or at least dial it down.

You have to have him in the conversation...Crosby has been playing like a fricking maniac since Sochi? The important thing is NS gets yet another visit with the Cup and it's favorite son bringing it home.

Congrats to the Penguins. This was a truly remarkable run. This is an era where it is taken as a given a team needs an elite puck-moving defender to even be considered for the Cup, and the Penguins won the whole shebang with a defensive corps that could charitably be described as mediocre.

they were missing Kris Letang, that truly elite blueliner, and their defense compensated by simply coming at teams in waves. It was like a zombie outbreak... they just kept replacing the fallen man. This was an amazing job by Sullivan to get that kind of production out of that unit.

Teams these days are built on depth. Line after line is supposed to produce, and you can't have a weak link... unless you are the Penguins. Their top 4 skaters accounted for 99 points, nearly half of the team's production. It was just an incredibly top heavy team, yet it worked.

They played two goalies. They had 10 players shoot over 10%. They had a guy actually earn a Gordie Howe hat trick in a Stanley Cup Final game (Malkin). This was a ridiculous, odds-defying, sign your soul away to Satan to run.

This was a truly amazing Cup win.

pretty incredible run when you consider their injuries and the band of misfits they've had on the blue line since about January.

and then Murray, two Stanley cups as a rookie. quite a start to a career.

Crosby is only 29 so we have many more years of this until someone on that side of the bracket can show the ability to beat this team 4 times in 7 tries.

Eff the pens. Greatness my arse. The NHL is rigged beyond belief and it's no surprise the golden boys benifet.
