Just a warning if anyone is planning on taking Joker to win the tourney. This wrist injury seems legit. I'm changing my official pick to Nishikori over Raonic, though it's clear that Murray is in the best form coming in.

How about this Michael Mmoh?

Well, for one he pulled out of Cincy. Considering he only played 1 match in Rio, I'm sure he would have wanted the court time.

Two, he has mentioned it in interviews. “I'm just hoping that Monday, when the tournament starts, I'll be able to get close to the maximum of executing my backhand shot as possible." Hoping? Close? That's never good.

Also, he was about -130 a couple weeks ago. Now the prevailing number is +125 and 5Dimes actually has +140. It 'could' all be overreaction to the wrist, and to Murray's recent run, but I'd rather not take the chance.

I like Jo-Willy to get to a semi

Something about this tournament and his serve says he's due.

Now go watch him do an Isner DGAF effort in Rd 3.

There is some cruel American on American crime early. Isner has Frances Tiafoe and Sock has Taylor Fritz. Steve Johnson v Del Potro in the second round should be awesome.

The USTA not know how to load a draw anymore?

Who does Monfils have?

You know the greatest IDGAF match ever would be Isner Monfils. I think it's why I love to watch Monfils when he implodes it's incredible

Funny thing is Johnson complained that an American should have gotten Delpo's wild card, then he drew Delpo in the 2nd round.

He's probably right actually. But then they should throw Del Po vs a foreigner, if he's a WC.

Definitely rooting for the old del Potro comeback he is doing really well in the latter half of 2016

But more realistically Murray. Djokovic is faltering and I would like to continue to see that happen. I want Fed to keep the most championships and I am of Scottish heritage so go Andy

But also del Potro

Real trouble or Isner IDGAF trouble?

I saw Monfils rolled in his first set. I predict his IDGAF moment in 3rd or 4th round.

He looked really solid in Rio.

Cici Bellis cruises to 6-2, 6-3 opening round win.

Eta according to US Open app there were no winners hit by either player in the entire match. That's hard to believe and a little sad if true.

How has he looked so far in the opening round? I really was hoping he'd be on later when I got home.

I guess he needs to show-up for a couple rounds before he gets the primetime slot.
