How would a Saints loss today have changed this, if any?

Saints are in NFL hell. Eliminated from the playoffs early every year but win some meaningless games late in the season to secure a mid round draft pick. Rinse repeat

Hope the mini superbowl was worth it Saints fans

I'm not a Falcons fan. I pretty much hate anything associated with Atlanta

Somewhere between 8-11. Those teams are all at 6 wins.

5 or 6 if we lost the jags game too

I can honesly say I can see a scenario where a qb doesn't go in the first round. I can see the browns giving Johnny a legit shot and while the rams need a qb they can get a much more important o lineman at that spot

Intrigued by what the cowboys will do hopefully take Robinson to shore up the d line

I doubt it. I know the QB class is weak, but even the Cowboys are probably considering it for the sake of having a backup for Romo.

If Paxton lynch is available when the Cowboys pick they'd be crazy not to take him IMO

At #4? They'd be dumb to take a QB with their first pick

Who else should they take?

They're gonna need a replacement for Romo within no more than 3 years, likely 2. They can take a QB here then they don't have to bottom out a year

(Obviously you don't have to bottom out a season to get a QB nor is it gauranteed if you do but it makes it a whole lot more likely

Take a 2-3 year project in round 3.

You don't take a high first round pick to have him sit a couple of years.

Exactly Romo has 2-3 years before his back gives out. Take best defensive player available at 4 or trade back and draft a WR in mid to late 1st. Take a project QB in round 2 or 3.
