I said he was barely league average.

His first 9 seasons, from 89-97, his slash was .257/.308/.469. OPS+ of 107. That was roughly half his career plate appearances.

One more year closer for some arrogant prick to try to explain why Mariano Rivera doesn't deserve to be a unanimous addition.

I wonder if Jeter can break the streak? If Jeter can't get in unanimous, it'll never happen.

BYW, I hate the Yankees. But these guys deserve to be unanimous.
