2016 College Baseball Opening Weekend and Louisiana Teams

Here's the state's college baseball action for opening weekend. Looks like Louisiana college baseball will once again have national recognition. LSU is back reloaded. ULL and Tulane are very talented teams. SLU, Nichols, and Northwestern State are Southland favorites. Looks like all teams will stay in state this week including an interesting tournament at UNO.

LSU vs. Cincinnati

ULL vs. Sam Houston State

SLU vs. ULM

Tulane vs. Illinois

Northwestern St. vs. Alabama St.

Nichols vs. Mississippi Valley State

La Tech vs. Praire View A&M (UNO Tourny)
vs. Southern (UNO Tourny)
vs. UNO

McNeese vs. Southern Illinois

Southern vs. Grambling (UNO Tourny)
vs. La Tech (UNO Tourny)
vs. Alcorn St (UNO Tourny)

Grambling vs. Southern (UNO Tourny)
vs. UNO (UNO Tourny)
vs. Praire View A&M (UNO Tourny)

UNO vs. Alcorn St.
vs. Grambling
vs. LA Tech

I agree, there should only be 4 public universities. LSU, UL, La Tech and UNO.

Yup. I am on board now. Was thinking about the UL in Lafayette and not the UL in Monroe.

Should have known a ULL/ULM pissing match would ensue.

Thanks for discussing the sport. LSU and ULL should be top 10. Tulane is towards the 20. Nichols and Southeastern receiving votes.

Louisiana is loaded with great baseball teams this year. should be a fun year.
