Good one. The core identity of the Spurs remains unchanged though. Duncan/Parker/Leonard/Ginobili(assuming) are still there.

@Mike_Bresnahan: Kosta Kofous is "on our radar," according to Lakers source. No signing imminent. They need somebody. Anybody, really.

Well they don't have anything we want Kosta

@WindhorstESPN: To that end, James doesn't plan to start talks with Cavs until Tristan Thompson's deal is settled. Currently those talks are stalled.

That was the plan all along, until they signed Love and started throwing these other rumors...at that point I thought Lebron was OK with them letting him walk.

That's about the only thing most West teams can hope for, divine intervention. Spurs about to go in dry.

Man all that stuff is so dumb. James isnt going anywhere and there is no need for them to even talk. He's gonna get the highest amount they can offer on a 1 year deal and a 1 year player option.

Supposedly TT wants 90 million instead of the 80 million he was offered. This dude is SOOO frickING DELUSIONAL. He averages 8\8 and comes off the fricking bench. He's an average defender and a below average offensive player. He can rebound pretty good though. Helps when no one has to defend you because you cant do shite on offense.

He's worth 10-12 mill a year at MOST. If he had any other agent besides Rich Paul this wouldn't even be a question.

Either way. Everyone gonna get resigned. Everyone gonna get paid (overpaid). Gilbert aint playing no games. They are going all in for the championship

either way they are over the cap. But that 90 mill instead of 80 mill could cost Gilbert an extra 100+ million over the length of the contract which will eventually lead to them breaking things up in a year or 2.

I'm ok with them giving him 15 a year if they trade Verajo but that's not gonna happen. You can't be paying both your backup PF and back up C 10+ mill a piece especially when the starting center is only making 5 mill and is going to want 15 mill himself next season.

Gilbert is obviously going all in RIGHT NOW but hes gonna have to blow shite up in a couple years or keep paying a shite ton extra. If you thought the Nets situation was bad the last couple of seasons you aint seen nothing yet

Lakers need to amnesty Kobe.

Rehab Randle very slowly (76ers way).

Let Russel and Clarkson run the show.

Basically use next years season as a tank for Simmons campaign. Lakers lose their pick if it is not top 3. I also think one more bottom dwelling season and maybe little jimmy will jump off the Santa Monica pier into a great whites awaiting jaws.
