2014 Ohio State = 2023 Florida State

People forget that Ohio State won a national championship with their backup quarterback. JT Barrett was Ohio State’s QB in 2014 (once Braxton Miller got hurt before the season) but he got hurt against Michigan. Ohio State won the next week in their conference championship with their backup QB Cardale Jones. Ohio State still got into the playoff, even though they had a loss. But still, 12-1 and conference champs with a backup QB.
FSU DIDNT lose unlike Ohio State and still won their conference title. So explain why 2023 FSU shouldn’t get in even though Ohio State did with an almost directly alike circumstance?

There is no reasonable argument against it.

I think 13-0 FSU is in but Ohio St beat 10-2 Wisconsin 59-0. FSU's offense has looked awful in 2 games now without Travis.

FSU still won by double digits.

Ohio State shouldn’t have gotten in over TCU or Baylor. They lost to a 6-6 Va Tech team at home by double digits. They only got in based on their name.
FSU is an undefeated P5 team. Every single precedent established by the committee says they are in the playoffs.

Ohio State got in because the Big 12 was incompetent and didn't have a conference title game.
