bama, has Stuckey posted Hockey picks?

And For that matter, does anyone have any hockey picks?

ETA: Nvm bama

quote:

@Stuckey2

NHL: San Jose +135, Nashville-125 & Vancouver +115, Los Angeles -115

NCAA: Boston College +1, Missouri +5.5, Tease: Indiana +7.5/Virginia +13.5 & ML Parlay: NC State/Tennessee/Nevada +120.

Not quite sure how he's been in the NCAA, but he's pretty solid when it comes to NHL

In other words, I endorse his NHL. Not sure about NCAA just because I have never played them.

bamafan might know

Dg, you like a side in the fl-mizzou game? I'm seeing a lot of love for mizzou that is making me second guess playing florida big.

LOL that UF-FSU game I had UF by 19 I believe, I didnt understand that at all, so I stayed away.

I have Florida by 7 tonight from a pure numbers standpoint, so I think the number is right around what it should be, Mizzou is lacking a big win and Florida can pretty much coast to the finish now, probably why a lot of people are on the Tigers.

My eyeball analysis says Mizzou has one of the best home court advantages in CBB. I'd imagine their home/away splits are astronomical.

Vegas loves UF, pretty much #1 on Vegas Rankings, although you can argue their schedule over the last month or so has been a complete joke.

I like Miz straight up - Florida has zero road wins vs. the Top 100.

Is that just random picks? The "drinks are on me" line has me thrown off

No, if i hit it, a $22 play pays off over 5K.

I like every game in the parlay. I think both dogs are live in CL game. Other 3 games are from England.

COLLEGE HOOPS
YTD PLAYS 140-96-2 +39.2 Units (59%)
YTD LEANS 32-28-3 +0.9 Units (54%)
Combined 172-124-5 +40.1 Units (58%)

PLAYS
TCU +5.5 (1.5x)
Utah St +12
Georgia Tech +3.5
Indiana +1.5
Fresno State +7
Missouri +5
Florida State +8
LSU +7.5

LEANS
VCU +3
Wichita State -3
Southern Illinois +14.5

NOTES
- I have TCU, Indiana, GT, and VCU all winning outright.
- I have Fresno, FSU, and LSU all losing by 3.5 points, So I am a little worried we will probably lose one of them to free throws at the end of the game. I think we take two out of three.

EDIT: I knocked down Indiana a few spots and added Missouri to my PLAYS

I've kicked around most of those plays. Only disagreement is I have St. Louis, you have VCU as a lean.

I use two different metrics to determine how much better a team is at home than they are on the road. Mizzou is ranked #14 in one and #34 in the other (out of 347 teams). I would say your eyeball analysis is correct.

I guess the SEC being weak really makes this analysis all the more difficult. Doing a quick glance I didn't see any victories at home for Mizzou that were too earth shattering. I think in the SEC their best win was Bama.

Florida is 9-3 on the road this year......2 against tourney teams in Arizona and Kansas St. (Arizona game was one they should have won and covered with ease, but pissed it away in the last 2 minutes). Other loss was against Ark. Since beginning SEC play Florida is 9-3 ATS (5-1 ATS Away/4-2 ATS Home). Mizzou is 5-7 ATS (4-2 ATS Home/1-5 ATS Away)

Pretty confident that I will win more than I lose.

If your thinking about placing bets tonight, just remember that your gonna have winning nights and losing nights, so lower your bet amounts a tad and lessen the burden and stress. Try to win a solid amount over time, not win big every night.
