Going into the year, I thought Poythress would be this year's Terrance Jones for a UK title team, but I was wrong.

Its WCS. If he had a consistent offensive game, he would be UK's best player.

All it takes is one game. Maybe this is the game that gets UK rolling this season.

Exactly.

Kids awesome. And his ceiling is endless. Physically, hes got everything you want already. Mentally, he could improve so much by just coming back for 1 season. And that will help him make an easier transition into the NBA.

But the dudes awesome. Not saying it would be a mistake if he left this year. Not at all. Just think he would benefit the most out of all the top guys in this draft if he could come back. But cant blame him if he went...Id go

Is his family still in Cameroon??

I doubt he comes back. Look at all the injuries in the NBA the past 2 years.

Look at Mitch McGary.

Nothing is guaranteed.

What a lot of people dont realize about McGary is that he didnt even do that much for Michigan during the season last year. Just played extremely well in the tourney. Averaged 7pts and 6 rebs last year.

But I agree nothing is guaranteed. And im not saying he should stay or he should go. Just think he would benefit a lot if he came back for 1 more year. If i was him, I would go.

That is the point though. After the tournament, he was a guaranteed 1st round pick had he come out.

Yeah but wasnt it a late 1st round pick though?? 1st round pick in NBA draft isnt like a 1st round pick in NFL draft.

Edit: Thread hijack... my bad.

Very good win. UK is a great team when they play defense and rebound.

Pretty sure they are. His dad came to a game earlier this year in Lawrence and it was the first time he had ever seen him play

I'm more impressed with the fact they managed it without Randle the majority of the 2nd half.

Very proud of Andrew Harrison. Really stepped up in the 2nd half.
