After hearing Moises Alou say he pees on his hands I bet all those fans wish they would have run away instead of reaching for the ball.

I laughed when I saw that in the comments section. The ball took a high hop and went off of his glove.

every time people talk about bartman, literally everyone bitches about alex gonzalez and game 7 all while saying that no one gives them the blame. so if everyone always remembers to blame alex gonzalez and game 7, how is that still a thing?

It's more that when it happened, all the focus was on Bartman while Gonzalez got off scot free.

That exact game was shown on MLBN today because it was on a greatest games countdown. I had to immediately change the channel. I will never be able to watch it.

The annoying group is now the newfound Cubs haters after watching Catching Hell. Every fanbase has its morons. No one should be surprised.

A lot of things went wrong. It was heartbreaking.

Do they also blame Bartman for their epic choke in 08?

He did what 99% of fans would have done, Cubs fans just need an easy target. Forget the muffed ground ball

The 03 Marlins are one of my favorite non-Astros teams of all time. They had a great story with Jack McKeon coming in during the season and leading them on an absolute tear. Young guys like Miggy, Beckett, Dontrelle Willis. Solid group of vets (Lowell,Lee,Castillo,Pierre,Urbina). Pudge was one of my favorites growing up, loved that he finally got a ring. Will never forget Beckett's domination of the Yanks and those guys celebrating in Yankee Stadium

Bartman rebuffed the overtures, Murtha said, to avoid the notoriety and the inevitable uproar afterward. He has also turned down financial opportunities in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, Murtha said.

For the way he as been unjustly vilified, he should have cashed in at least.

How is it not Bartman's fault? Not only did he reach for the ball along with about 8 other fans but he proceeded to boot the ball at short, give up 8 runs in two innings, and lose game 7 all by himself.

Yeah frick Bartman...
