Doing a refinance with New Penn right now. So far ive been very impressed with the whole process and the constant communication with my mortgage consultant.

Freakin' BOA - but my original lender was just in it for the origination fees and shite. I would never choose them voluntarily - although they haven't been too bad.

Freedom Mortgage. They are not to bad except I can't log in to my checking account and pay them like I do most bills. I have to mail a check or log in to their site and pay it there

Some people may prefer the local, one-on-one / hand shake type of relationship and you can't get that with NPF.

However, you can get a much better rate than most and pay a lot less in closing cost.

And that's why I chose them. My mortgage consultant was great. Fast to respond by e-mail and did what he said he would do.

Im with GMFS and they havent sold my loan which I like.

Same here. I've used them a few times over the past 10-12 years (one refi and 2 new purchases). They are easy to deal with and have always beat or matched any other price I find. They service the loan after the fact which is definitely a plus as well. It's a local business so I'll use them on the next house(s) until they give me a reason not to do so.
