Venture Card: New way to shop with points

Just logged on and they have an ad where you can use a chrome extension to use your miles at stores for purchases. These stores include Amazon, American Airlines, Groupon, Nordstrom, Target, and Zappos.
Just tried it out at Amazon and it uses the same point value as the travel rewards.
