Updating my resume

Question is how specific to be when adding my current position. Like I'm pretty sure I can't put in any metrics of accomplishments but I'm not sure what terminology is even appropriate. Not even sure if I should be using industry standard acronyms especially if i try to change lines of business

Tailor the resume to the job. If it's the same industry the jargon will make sense. If not, speak in more general terms.
