...but I have some cash on the side for buying opportunities.

Looking at V if it dips below 70
Looking at PLC is it holds at current levels or drops
Looking at KMB but it needs to drop a little more

I have one small gamble play that is about to be triggered - we will see how that plays out in the next 12 months.

Good luck!!

just on fox business said arab wealth funds are liquidating to fund social programs due to low oil prices. This goes to my theory or show how much power these funds have, that these funds coordinated an attack on US stocks in the fall of 2008 to help obama get elected.

10:15am and the Dow is down almost 450pts already.

It might be time to invest in toilet paper with this kind of crap going on.

How bad is this going to get?

Do we see a rebound in the afternoon?

I was able to make a couple of long term plays - I balked on the gamble play.

Ended up being a nice purchase day for me.

Did they also craft the subprime mortgage and credit crisis? And wasn't there also some kind of global financial melt down or something about that time? Sly devils, aren't they?

Anyway, yes, the pain is beginning to show on many fronts. Short and medium term technicals are showing oversold. My guess is we'll see a short term pop back up in the near term. But since oil and other commodities are still causing fundamental weakness, this could get even uglier. Still... Ford is now yielding over 7%. I may have to take a shot at that falling piece of hot coal and just hold on.

Just my 2 pennies.
