My take on the Pilot. My wife drives an '08 and I've been slightly disappointed in the reliability part. I had an Accord that never had one problem over 215k miles except to replace a headlight one time. I've had battery and power window issues. Front suspension bracket problems with the arm and cushions. All with less than 100k. So I'm a little jaded.

Now that said she had an '06 and walked away from a head on collision with only a sore wrists, airbag bruise and minor glass cuts. A wreck in oncoming traffic sent a car across the median and she t-boned the vehicle at 60mph.

Man, she walked away from that with only minor injuries. Wow. That's awesome.

Yeah it's amazing how much safer cars are these days.
