Valet at a high-end hotel/restaurant. Cash job and you get to drive really nice cars.

My cousin made over $100k a year bartending but she was hawt.

I knew I wasn't the only one secretly wishing a cousin or two weren't actually my cousins...Uncle of mine said he actually pulled the trigger on one when he was younger. Said it was the best (()) he ever had.

I worked as a baseball umpire / football referee. Mainly youth sports leagues. I called a few JV games, but I would say 90 percent of them, at least were youth games.

Absolutely this.... easy money....have done it off and on for years because I enjoy it.

My dad just started doing this part time in the Nashville area, working mostly JV games. He's really enjoying it so far and it was pretty easy for him to get started. All he had to do was attend a few training sessions and pass a test.

If you are interested in doing LHSAA games, go to the website and look for the assignment secretary for the Baton Rouge area for baseball. There is an officials section of that website.

Otherwise, assuming the weather is good tonight, drive out to any of the larger BREC parks where you see a game in process, Cypress Mounds, fields in Ascension, etc. Go walk around and look for someone in charge, introduce yourself and tell them you are interested in umpiring, and they will tell you who to talk to.

I know in New Orleans there used to be at least three different associations. Haven't done it in many years, so I don't know how it is now. Back when I was involved, there was no LHSAA officials association, so maybe it's different these days.

Rent our home on weekends on Airbnb.com. Buffet endorsed them today. Waiting for their stock to go public.

Painter.

As in Benjamin Moore, not Carvaggio.

Paint one interior room every Saturday, pick up $250-300 for your labor.

Wonder if I could offer manual labor on craigslist? I love being outdoors and I love landscaping.

I'm no expert but my guess is that Juan and Jesus are much cheaper.

Refereeing is solid for someone looking for something to do for a year or two, I did BREC softball while in school. No experience required, they'll train you.

If you want to do something you enjoy that might have more of a future though there are other options. I found that I enjoyed computer programming, paid my way through grad school with side jobs, and now it's a big part of what I do for a living. My degree wound up being largely useless.

Grass is starting to grow and people are lazy as shite. A guy I work with does this on the side and rakes in an easy 20k cash a year.

I do contracting to handyman to just "boy" labor in Auburn. I charge by the project and keep track of my miles. I set up a business with the city and pay city tax on all income that the business makes as a not for profit then the business cuts me a check for the profit. Probably not doing something fully legally, but the city thinks im doing everything right.
