Should I be concerned with the condition of these seats Update**

**Went look at it, it's from Missouri and was a rental... Looks decent but couldn't get a fair price so I left

I'm looking for a used car with good mpg... The car looks in decent shape besides the seats being dirty

Any advice would be appreciated!! TIA

ETA: Sorry chicken

Usually good retailers can work wonders. This car looks like its been detailed, and still dirty arse seats.

Deal breaker for me.

But, seat covers are relatively cheap, or can even have them recovered for cheap (<$1000 for cloth, $1500-$2k leather). I even replaced my cloth seats in my Altima with Katzskin leather myself for $500.

Ok, I think I will go with seat covers.. I was concerned about any possible long term damage caused by the gross seats

ETA: If I do decide on buying which might not happen with those things

Im rough on vehicles and I have never had any of my seats look like that. I dont think I would trust buying a vehicle where someone wouldnt even take care of the seats.

I think they can dye them back to a decent color, but screw that car.

That looks like flood damage to me.

Have you looked at the Carfax? Was it registered anywhere in the North East?

I was thinking that too. I haven't looked at the carfax yet, but that is my next step.

what year model and find out where it was shipped to from the factory.

Been a lot of storms and flooding the last 10 yrs or so.

Old man was going to buy a new dodge back in 2006 and when he went to the lot to look at it we find all kids of sand in spots there should have not been. I checked online and sure enough its original distination from the factory to dealership was new orleans 2005 then moved up to north LA after katrina.
