One. Page.

CVs should really be avoided until you are a senior leader with decades of experience. Even those people should still have a one page summary version.

Also, once you reach that level interviewing blind from a resume becomes less common, and anyone interested in hiring you probably already knows everything about you that is relevant to the position.

I've read 30-50 resumes a year for the past ten years. The substantial majority are/were for entry level positions.

I rarely look at any second page at all and have never seen anything on one that has positively affected my view of a candidate.

depends on the role. Unless you have 10+ years experience or are a published educator, it feels a bit overkill to have multiple pages.

that being said mine is 2 pages due to all my awards

Some advise putting as much as possible as long as it's impressive/relevant to the job.

I think the issue is most people over value their experience and don't self edit accomplishments well so it's good to force yourself to distill it down to the best

That said-- try to figure if it's a position with 5 applicants or 500 (i.e. Will multiple pages be read or is it better to have 2-3 shockingly strong points)

I have an online portfolio where I can document these types of things and pull the most relevant items for a paper resume.

Place a link to said portfolio and the HR person can read if they want.

Use LinkedIn to provide greater detail if you want a recruiter to be able to access more depth to your profile.

I've read over 1,000 resumes in the last two years to fill 2 internship roles on my team. Everyone has something they look for and value and you just have to hope that their eyes align with what you have to offer.
