Reading home insurance policy and declarations = eating broken glass!

I tried to make myself sit down and read every page. It did not happen.
All the change language to the base policy alone is mind numbing.
I got the major things well understood (eg, deductibles, major coverages and exceptions - flood, mold, etc; )
But all the ins / outs, nope.
Am I alone?

All insurance policies are like that, full of shite that makes no sense to you when you buy it, but when you make a claim they say "oh, well If you look at page 757 section 3:8,;-7 you will see that your issue was specifically excluded"

Like anything, it's easy if you understand what you are looking for.
