So I am updating my resume with my current job however I am still considered a SSE until I reach the 6 month mark and as a result have trainee in my job title. Should I leave that off my resume?

6 month mark? How far off are you?

If "trainee" is part of the true job title then leave it for now. Otherwise somebody will not be pleased when they verify. But once you hit the 6-month mark pull "trainee" and just use the real non-trainee job title for the full time period.

Don't leave it out.

It's come back to bite many men much more powerful and rich than you.

Honesty/transparency is ALWAYS the best approach.

Don't put trainee. Everyone in the industry knows how it works when you're right out of school.

SSE

Or short service employee, meaning he's a greenhat.

Leave it there - also why are you updating your resume as a
"Trainee"?
